IPPC Applications

The Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Regulations require certain prescribed industrial and agricultural activities with a high pollution potential to achieve permits to operate. These permits are subject to a rigorous application process and can only be issued if certain environmental conditions are met. The integrated approach means that the permits must take into account the whole environmental performance of the plant, covering emissions to air, water and land, waste generation, raw material use, energy efficiency, noise, accident prevention, emergency response and restoration of the site upon cessation of activities.

ABC Environmental will work with clients throughout the application process from the preliminary assessments to the submission of the completed application to the enforcement authority.

We will:

• Obtain, collate and present all the required information for completion of the application.
• Act as first point of contact between the client and the regulator.
• Represent clients in all meetings with the enforcement authority.
• Undertake or requisition and project manage all necessary works to achieve authorization.
• Provide agreed, regular reports on the progress of the application to the client.
