Health, Safety and Environmental Statement

Our goal is to adopt, promote and facilitate sustainable business practice and continual environmental improvement while ensuring the health and safety of our stakeholders at all times. Our policy is to integrate this goal and our business objectives and practices into the every day running of the business and all contracts that we undertake.

Environmental and health and safety responsibilities have equal ranking to all others related to the operation of the company and everything possible is done to prevent negative environmental impacts and personal injury during any company activities.  

  1. In pursuing our business, no activity is more important than the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, contractors and the public.  
  2. All applicable environmental and health & safety legislation will be complied with and, where appropriate, we will set ourselves standards which are higher than the legal minimum.
  3. We will ensure that our operations are performed, and can be seen to be performed, safely.
  4. We will endeavour to prevent accidents and to lessen the consequences of any accidents that may occur.
  5. We will continually reduce, as far as reasonably practicable, the effect of our operations on the environment.
  6. An appropriate level of authority on safety and environmental matters will be delegated to managers.
  7. Procedures will be in place for consultation on environmental and health and safety matters with employee representatives.
  8. All employees will receive the training they need to carry out their work safely and with due regard to environmental protection.
  9. All stakeholders and interested third parties including employees, the public and their representatives will have access to relevant health, safety and environmental information.
